Who We Are

The Waltham Partnership for Youth, Inc. is a multi-sector collaborative, a recognized not-for-profit corporation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Its mission is to enhance the quality of young lives in Waltham by identifying the needs of all Waltham youth and coordinating the resources to meet those needs. The Waltham Partnership for Youth, Inc. advocates for Waltham youth, acting as a catalyst for youth agenda, coordinating multi-sector planning, initiating new programs, and brokering resources from all sectors of the Waltham community. Primary focus areas are academic enhancement, career awareness, and youth services.

The officers of the Waltham Partnership for Youth, Inc. Board of Directors are: President Richard Frese, Professor of Government at Bentley College; Vice President Laurie Lindstrom, Chief Operating Officer of Middlesex Human Service Agency, Inc.; Treasurer Thomas Jewell, Director of the Waltham Public Library; and Clerk Brenda Capello, Director of Personnel for the City of Waltham. Board members are leaders from the education community, youth service providers, the Waltham business community, and other city departments.
